Carpool Guidelines
August 12, 2010
Safety is by far our first priority, every day. Here are a few things to remember to keep our children safe coming in and out of our doors:
- Be cautious when approaching the circle. If you see any children moving anywhere in the loop, please wait in the road until you are safely waved in.
- Turn off engines while the children are moving. Please do not start your car until the all set wave is given.
- Keep children in the cars until you see a smiley face.
- When waiting on the street, please be mindful of any mailboxes or driveways and that you do not block them.
- If your four-legged friend is making the car ride to school, please keep Fido safely tucked in the car while you are in the loop. We have many children fearful of dogs.
- Please do not block the yellow crosswalk.
- Never back out of the circle or pull around a car that is still buckling a child in.
Thank you again for a great start! We are excited to be on this journey of growing and learning with all of your children.
School Cancellation Procedures
November 23, 2008
School cancellations due to inclement weather will automatically be in effect if the Merrimack Public Schools are closed. If the Merrimack Public Schools have a 90 minute delayed opening, our school day will automatically begin at 10:30 and end at the normal scheduled time.
We may, however, find it necessary to cancel on our own and will do so by 8:00 a.m. This information will be broadcast on these local radio stations: WZID (FM 95.7), and WGIR (AM 610), and TV Station WMUR-TV 9. If school is cancelled after 8:00 a.m., or if it is necessary to have an early dismissal, telephone calls will be made by Committee members. There will be no make-up days.
