Merrimack PTA Kindergarten and Preschool is a private non-profit organization established in 1961 under the auspices of the Parent Teacher Association of the Merrimack School District.
The educational philosophy of the Merrimack PTA Kindergarten and Preschool is to promote the total development of each child and respect individual differences. The Merrimack PTA Kindergarten and Preschool staff believes a child’s self-confidence and self-esteem are fundamental to learning and typical development.

Kindergarten
Kindergarten is a unique and stimulating four hour program M-F 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Children are exposed to the Everyday Mathematics curriculum, language arts, science and the simple excitement of learning. Children become capable, confident learners for a smooth transition to first grade.

Pre-Kindergarten
The 4’s program is an energetic and exciting experience, M/W/F 9:00 am – 12:00 pm through December with “Step Up” to 9:00 am – 1:00 pm in January. Social and cognitive growth, gross and fine motor development is encouraged while developing and enriching the “whole child”.

Preschool
The 3’s Preschool is a wonderful opportunity offered T/TH 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. As a first exposure to school, this is a relaxed, inviting environment full of play, songs, stories and growth. Through love and guidance we aim to foster independence, competence, originality and self-expression.
